BOSTON, MA – Zillion is excited to announce that Ms. Meredith Tiderington is the 2025 recipient of its Women in STEM Scholarship. An Electrical Engineering student at Purdue University, Ms Tiderington thrives on the challenge of breaking down complex issues into manageable parts, experimenting with solutions, and refining until she reaches her desired outcome. She demonstrated a wonderful test and learn approach that made her a standout among an impressive group of applicants.
Zillion created the “Zillion Women in STEM Scholarship” in 2021 to aid and empower women to enter the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. The academic scholarship, designed to cover a portion of tuition costs for a female student majoring in a STEM discipline at an accredited US college or university, is profoundly important to Zillion. As a leader in embedded insurance, Zillion’s innovation is directly attributed to a talented and diverse team, well represented by women in engineering and leadership roles.
“Zillion has always embraced a test and learn strategy to improve the customer experience and redefine insurance norms”, said Adam Black, Managing Director at Zillion. “Ms. Tiderington has demonstrated a keen ability to take on problems and work through them with curiosity and logic. We’re excited to support her as she advances her career within a STEM discipline”.
